Our project aimed to address the lack of diversity in the aerospace engineering field by using MATLAB to analyze and visualize relevant data. We created a program that compared diversity metrics in aerospace engineering within the U.S. and globally, as well as across the broader engineering field. The program generated five figures, highlighted current diversity trends, and projected potential improvements through increased outreach and exposure to underrepresented communities.
